Rule No. 1 (2021)

Background:

Rule No. 1 is a first-person shooter developed and published by Walk Without Rhythm Studios. The first game in the Rule series, it was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows. The game is set in a surreal and colorful arena and follows Rule, a gunslinger who must ascend each wave of geometric and 2.5D enemies to succeed.

My Role (Solo Freelance Programmer):

• Player controls and weapon behaviors
• Enemy A.I. behavior & gameplay concepts
• Integrating programming and visual assets with custom components (menu, Steam leaderboard integration, game modes)
